The weekend is finally here, and it’s time to catch up on what is happening and where. Start with our picks for the weekend:

Corporate Night @ K-Club

Every first Friday of the month, K-Club in Nyarutarama hosts a special night theme dubbed ‘Corporate Night’. On the night, companies and their employees carry their billboards to the club and promote their products and services.

Tonight, Kigali’s finest DJs, Namosky, Karim and Soft will help you dance to the latest music all night.

Entrance fee is Rwf5, 000 in the ordianry section and Rwf10, 000 in the VIP room. Don’t forget to pick your free Heineken at the entrance.

Tom Close, Knowless @ Car Wash

Tom Close and Knowless will perform tonight at the Royal Car Wash in Kimihurura in a concert titled, ‘Icyerekezo’.

Other artistes expected to perform are Uncle Austin, Christopher, Ama G The Black and Babu. The concert is being sponsored by Banque Populiare du Rwanda (BPR), with the aim of fighting drug abuse among the students. It is free and open to the public.

Pubs and Restaurants

As we enter into the commemoration period of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, which starts on Sunday, April 7—we don’t expect any concerts or celebrations in the country at least until after one week (April 13). However, you can go with your friends and family to the following pubs and restaurants in Kigali that will help you kill off the stress of the week, as you join the rest of the country to remember those who perished in the genocide.

Orange Courts in Kacyiru is a new and fresh joint that is suitable for family outings.  Later, you can slope to KGL Fast Food in Kinamba for more fun.

In Kimihurura you can visit Chapter One, Ogopogo, and Sundowner.

Africa Bite is another beautiful restaurant in the neighborhood with a wide range of African food. Down Town Pizzeria is also an ideal place to be this weekend.

Those in Kicukiro can join DJ Gomez at Stone House just after Sonatube as he’ll be playing the best of today’s’ music.

Remera has plenty of joints to visit such as; Rosty Bar, Sticky Bar, African Village and The Dug Out have the best pubs with affordable prices and great music.

Orange Courts in Kacyiru is a new and fresh joint that is suitable for family outings and they have a lot in stock for you this Easter weekend.
