Rwanda’s UNSC presidency is for the interests of Africa

Well, holding 11 closed consultations, nine public meetings, one troop contributing countries’ meeting and a meeting to adopt resolutions, within one month, is not an easy task, but I hope Rwanda will make it to prove to the entire world that Rwandans are capable of something for the benefit of Africa.

Indeed, our Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York should use this particular moment, where Rwanda is presiding over the Security Council, to convince other members of the Security Council of the good faith demonstrated by the Rwandan Government in the resolution of the crisis in the eastern part of DRC.
