Defending champions AS Kigali take on Les Lionnes today at E.S. Mutunda ground seeking to maintain their unbeaten run in the national women football league.

Grace Nyinawumuntu’s side, who have won the women league for the last three back-to back seasons, have secured maximum points after nine rounds of matches played.

They lead the table with 27 points, seven points clear from the second position APR, who host Urumuri at Ferwafa.

Nyinawumuntu is still eager to win another league title, “We want to win all our games, it will be tough away but we are looking forward setting a record.”

Former champion APR, in 2nd position with 20 points, host Urumuri , who are bottom with just three points. The Winners with 17 points in fourth position, play against Imirasire at Croix Rouge grounds.
