Reference is made to the commentary, “Rwanda’s debate on change and continuity is crucial”, (The New Times February, 19).
“Governments should not be changed for transient reasons”. The references Prof. Geoffrey Rugege aired here are well-founded and need to be looked at carefully.
We should look at where we have been, where we are now and where we are heading to; then base on that to decide wisely what is good for us irrespective of what others think about us.
In this case, Prof. Rugege, in my view, brings out salient points.
