ICTR Acquittals: Who is fooling who?

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the American justice system. It is so often said that: you get what you bargained for.

Editor,

THIS IS in reference to the article, “Genocide convicts alarmed by ICTR acquittals” (The New
Times, February 08).

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the American justice system. It is so often said that: you get what you bargained for.

The whole of Third World People, believe that Americans or the West (in the broader sense) have the best justice system. It is time to question the Western justice. ICTR appointed an American to head the Court of Appeal whereas this fellow believes, according to his Western norms, that RTLM radio’s messages to kill Tutsi, constitutes freedom of expression. Go figure it out.
