Early last year, MTN Rwanda, introduced to the press musicians Jay Polly, Mani Martin, Sandra Miraj, Uncle Austin and Barbara Immaculate Mujire as their brand ambassadors. At the same occasion, they introduced Diogene Ntarindwa, commonly known as Atome as their Brand Icon.

Now, according to sources at the headquarters in Nyarutarama, musician, Knowless has put  pen to paper and officially joined MTN Rwanda as brand ambassador.

“We can reveal that our lawyers have finalised all the contractual details with the entertainer. We are still interested in having a working relationship with all kinds of entertainers in the country as we grow together,” clarified David Kezio Musoke, when contacted about this development.

There are reports that comedian Arthur Nkusi will soon enjoy an MTN contract as well.

According to our source, Knowless and Nkusi will have their first performance with other brand ambassadors in a Valentine’s Day concert that will take place on Saturday.

Knowless appears in the portrait with other brand ambassadors like Jay Polly, Uncle Austin Mani Martin and brand icon, Atome. Knowless wasn’t available for comment.

“We decided to push the concert to Saturday 16th February because Thursday (Valentine’s Day) is a working day. But since we think of the whole week as a ‘Y’ello Valentines’ season we can still celebrate it on Saturday in a concert we’ve called ‘Uru-Ravu concert,” Musoke explained.

‘Uru-Ravu’ concert will be held on Saturday, 16th February 2013 at Gikondo Expo Grounds and gates will open at 6pm. Entrance fee is Rwf 2,000 and Rwf5,000 (VIP).
