Why fight Georgia?

Dear editor,Russia should not be hard on Georgia. The Russian fight to ostensibly oust President Mikhail Saakashvili is a great sign of arrogance and intimidation of the so-called strong nations.

Dear editor,
Russia should not be hard on Georgia. The Russian fight to ostensibly oust President Mikhail Saakashvili is a great sign of arrogance and intimidation of the so-called strong nations.

It is so unfortunate that Russian forces even think of pushing further south towards Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.

They cannot therefore claim to be aiming at anything else but toppling the regime in Tbilisi.

This is completely wrong and the EU should stand against Russian agenda.

The French President Nicolas Sarkozy, whose country currently chairs the EU, should advice the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev a member of the UNSC to withdraw his troops immediately when he meets him in Moscow.
