RWANDA Revenue Authority will be hoping to win their next two fixtures to be assured of winning the national women’s league title this season.
Last week, RRA defeated defending champions APR 3-2 to go level on 28 points with the military side.
Now, Coach Jean Luc Ndayikengurukiye believes winning the next two matches against St. Alloys Rwamagana and the final play-off match will see his side claiming the league title.
Ndayikengurukiye told Saturday Sports yesterday that the team is well placed to win silverware this season.
“It is going to be tough but I am relying on my players to make the much needed difference in the play-offs,”
“We are capable of winning this title but it will require us to be in good shape of mind and exhibit much determination against our opponents,” added Ndayikengurukiye.
Despite being tied on 28 points, RRA has an upper edge with 1, 4793 ratio while APR has 1, 3478 ratio.
St Joseph who beat Lycee de Nyanza 2-3 and Ruhango who hit St Alloys 3-0 are among other clubs vying for the play-offs title.
In playoffs battle, Rwanda Revenue will play against fourth-placed St Alloys with 16 points while APR will meet third-placed Ruhango who are ranked third with 22 points.
The playoffs are slated for August 4.
