APR close in on Mukura

APR moved within two points of Primus League leaders Mukura after Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Isonga at Amahoro Stadium. The reigning champions came from behind to edge past a fighting Isonga side courtesy of goals from Jean Claude Iranzi and Kabange Twite.

Jacques Cyubahiro had given Richard Tardy’s side an early lead.

The win moves the twelve-time league champions to 21 points, just two adrift of Mukura and three clear of Rayon Sport and Police.

This Saturday, they will want to continue that form when they play away to Nyanza. On the other hand, Mukura face Kiyovu at Kigali Regional Stadium.

In other fixtures, Rayon Sport entertains Etincelles; Police take on Marines at Kicukiro turf, La Jeunesse host AS Kigali at Mumena stadium while Amagaju are away to Espoir.
