As Rwanda aspires to become a service based economy, it is important that businesses and all Rwandans excel in customer care delivery.
The private sector and public institutions should always integrate capacity building programmes in both the planning and execution phases. Excellent customer care, without doubt, helps attract and maintain clients, and most importantly transforms the country.
While the Government continuously encourages civil servants and businesses, alike, to improve their customer service, it is clear that there is still a long way to go.
The public, too, should not keep quiet when they experience poor service. They must be part and parcel of this campaign and speak out against sluggish and substandard service.
