Tennis youngsters head to Bujumbura

RWANDA is expected to send a seven-man team to Burundi to compete in this year’s ITF/East Africa Junior championship.

RWANDA is expected to send a seven-man team to Burundi to compete in this year’s ITF/East Africa Junior championship. According to the technical director of the local tennis federation (RTF), Placide Magambo, the team which departs for Bujumbura tomorrow, includes Jules Ndibwami, Ernest Habiyambere, Olivier Havugimana, Prince Ishimwe, Fabrice Tuyishime, Thierry Niyonsaba and Olivier Tuyisenge.

The 10-day tournament which gets underway on Sunday will also attract Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Somalia and Seychelles.
