Newly formed Primus national football league side Isonga FC have been given an early Christmas and New Year present after sponsors Inyange Industries promised to stick with the club even if they are relegated from the top flight division.
The former U-17 side, now U-20 which was drafted into the Primus league recently, has so far played three games, losing two and drawing the other.
Although the youthful side coach Vincent Mashami is confident that his team will soon get the right footing and avoid relegation, the club sponsors have promised to stick with the club through thick and thin.
“We made a one year commitment to this club, which is renewable. So even if they get relegated, that will not stop us from continuing our partnership,” Rama Kant Pandey, the Managing Director of Inyange Industries said recently.
However, Pandey could not divulge all the details of either the partnership or the contract.
Isonga, which is still trying to lure the Pro line duo of Andrew Buteera and Charles Tibingana will play Nyanza, Marines and APR in their next three matches.Follow https://twitter.com/@ostinepowers1
