Allow me to respond to Manzi Gasasira’s letter titled “poor customer service may slow economic growth” that appeared in yesterday’s issue of The NewTimes.

Indeed, as a nation that aspires to become a service based economy, it is vital that businesses and organisations do extremely well in delivery of customer care. To achieve this, organizations, both private and public should include within their budgets funds for training.
