60 riders sign-up for Anti-Corruption race

OVER 60 riders from nine clubs are expected to take part in the inaugural Anti-Corruption cycling competition this Sunday. According to the president of the national cycling federation (Ferwacy), Aimable Bayingana, the 80km race, sponsored by the Ombudsman’s office, is a prelude to the Anti-corruption week from December 5-11.

According to the president of the national cycling federation (Ferwacy), Aimable Bayingana, the 80km race, sponsored by the Ombudsman’s office, is a prelude to the Anti-corruption week from December 5-11.

“This is a great start to our goal of having monthly competitions,” Bayingana said.

The winner of the one-day event will pocket Rwf0.3m while Rwf0.2m and Rwf0.1m has been staked for the first and second runner-up.
