You have been working all week, counting the days, and now it’s finally here — the weekend!  There are exciting concerts to help you enjoy the weekend. Whatever your plans might be for this weekend, spending time with your loved one, going on a weekend escape with the family, or going out with friends; it’s time to make merry.

And what could be better than to start off with some incredible concerts to heighten your mood. In case you have no idea about the goings on this weekend, get caught up on what is happening.


Concert-goers ought to get ready for one of the major concerts to windup the year. 

On Friday, sensational singer Kamichi will launch his studio album “Umugabirwa” at the National University of Rwanda (NUR), in the Southern Provincial headquarters of Huye.

Local artistes Lil G, Nasson, Danny, Binny Relex, Ganzo, Just family, Rosy, J-Kid and Da Chim will perform. After the concert, all guests are invited for the after-party at Space Place.

Kamichi’s fans in Kigali and concert-goers in general, will be entertained by the Energy god himself, Elephant Man, who will be in Kigali to grace the “Aho Ruzingiye” concert on Saturday.

Also expected to perform are Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Jay Polly, Riderman and Knowles.

The much-anticipated concert organised by the East African Promoters, will be held at the Gikondo Expo Ground in Kigali. The entrance fee is Rfw5, 000.
