Sitting Volleyball team named

PETER Karreman has named a 12-man team for the Sub-Saharan Sitting Volleyball tournament which starts tomorrow at the NPC Gymnasium. The team includes Emile Vuningoma, Dominique Bizimana, CallixteTwagirayezu, Jean Bosco Ngizwenimana, Eric Ngirincuti, Fidele Ntawiha, Fulgence Hagenimana, Jean Baptista Gahamanyi, Jean Baptiste Murema, James Rutikanga, Vincent Tuyisenge, and Charles Ntagawa.

Other teams in contention include Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Cameroon, Nigeria, Zambia and DRC.

The one-week tournament will be coordinated by Denis Le Breuil, an official from the World Organisation Volleyball for the Disabled (WOVD).

The winner will automatically qualify for next year’s Paralympic Games in London.
