Editor,

The planned construction of Kigali-Gatuna highway, due to commence in May, next year, is a big relief to many businesspersons and other travelers who use the road frequently. The dilapidated state of the road has evidently slowed movement between Rwanda and Uganda.

It is encouraging that the government is moving to address the issue. It is my hope that the rehabilitation works will be fixed as announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
