Thugs terrorise Shyogwe residents

MUHANGA-Security organs in Muhanga District are hunting for gangsters suspected of terrorising residents of Shyogwe sector, reports Daniel Sabiiti. Reports indicate that there has been a wave of robberies that have left several residents injured in Kabeza, Nyagacyamo, and Ruhina villages.

Reports indicate that there has been a wave of robberies that have left several residents injured in Kabeza, Nyagacyamo, and Ruhina villages.
 
The most recent incident occurred on October 23, where one resident, Alexandre Mashini, was stubbed in the leg and shoulder before robbers took off with his valuables.
 
“The situation is alarming and local leaders have to devise means of beefing up night patrols and community policing initiatives.” said Antoine Sebalinda, the chairman of the District Council.
