NYAGATARE - Nyagatare District will host the Eastern Province trade fair scheduled to commence today until October 30.
The 10-day exhibition organised by Joint Action Development Fund (JADF), in collaboration with the district authorities, will attract hundreds of exhibitors from the province and neighbouring countries.
The expo will take place at Umutara Polytechnic University playgrounds.
Speaking to the media, Nyagatare District vice Mayor in charge of Economic Development called on the business community in the district to fully participate in the trade fair.
“We call upon the Nyagatare business community and residents to take this opportunity to attend this expo. It’s a privilege for us as a district to host such a trade show that promotes learning of new business ideas,” said Muganwa.
Thomas Hakizamungu, the Permanent Secretary of the JADF revealed that the trade fair was in the final stages of preparations.
Major Rwandan blue-chip corporations such as MTN, TIGO and Bralirwa are expected to take part. Other participants will include international non-governmental organisations operating in the province.
