He has been biding his time and waiting for music fans to welcome him back into the spotlight after a hiatus.
Joshua Polly Tuyishime, better known by his stage name Jay Polly, is due to launch his new album entitled ‘Iwacu’, at Petit Stade in Remera on October 7.
Speaking to The New Times, Jay Polly said the event would feature performances by many of the great names of Rwandan and Burundian music scenes.
The concert is expected to start at 5pm until 11pm.
The 23-year-old is a Hip-hop artiste, rapper, singer-songwriter and painter. Jay Polly is the co-founder of Tuff Gangs, a rap group that was founded in 2008.
He joined Rwanda’s music scene in 2004, with his debut single ‘Nakupenda’ but it was his 2010 track ‘Ndacyariho’ which introduced him to the spotlight.
