Man hacks wife over health insurance

KIREHE - Residents of Musaza Sector in Kirehe District were left in shock after a man chopped off his wife’s arm in a domestic row.Jean Marie Habumuremyi, who is still on the run, allegedly hacked Valentine Byukusenge, 23, with a machete, on Wednesday.The woman is battling for her life at Kirehe Hospital.Claude Uwamungu, a medical officer at the hospital said that the victim remains in intensive care with several body injuries.
