Editor,

I am writing to express my concerns over a story entitled ‘Rwanda’s voter registration numbers don’t add up’ which appeared on the website of Christian Science Monitor yesterday.

The headline and the content of the story were totally different. Thestory refers to a report from International Crisis Group on theforthcoming presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

But the content does not mention anything about Rwanda. The title is just misleading as the story is purely about the Congolese elections.

With the title naming Rwanda, and the content entirely about DRC, it is clear that either the writer or the editors do know anything about map reading or it was a reckless and editorial mistake.

I would kindly request the editors of Christian Science Monitor to correct the error. Otherwise the reputation of the publication is at stake.
