THE national rugby team will continue training twice a day despite the postponement of the annual Prinsloo 7s. No new dates have been set.

According to Coach Gerald Nsenga, the team has another invitation to take part in the Kaberi 7s hosted by Kenyan rugby club Mwamba which will take place on 24 and 25th this month and the CAR15s that will run from October 9-14.

“We were supposed to leave tomorrow (today) for the Prinsloo 7s but the competition has been postponed to a later date.

“But that will not slow us down.  As a matter if fact, we will increase training because we got another invite to take part in the Kaberi 7s and of course there is the CAR15s which is a month away,” Nsenga said.

The provisional squad of 20 players will continue training at Rugunga playground.

The Prinsloo 7s were supposed to take place in Nakuru this weekend. Mwamba won last year’s crown after Quins 17-10.
