IT will be a titanic battle as Rayon Sports takes on Police in the season curtain-raiser, Primus Cup at Amahoro stadium next week.

Both clubs have beefed up their squads significantly and are targeting silverware this season.

Jean Marie Ntwgabirwa won the trophy last year with Kiyovu and will want to give the Bblues their first taste of silverware in seven years.

The other day’s match will pit Primus national league champions against Marines at Kigali regional stadium.

Kiyovu will take on AS Kigali in Nyamirambo the following day while La Jeunesse is set to host Rubavu based Etincelles at Mumena stadium.

The semifinals will be played on September 9 and the final on the 11th.

The winners of the six day tourney will take home Rwf 5m, while the runners-up and the third placed team will walk away with Rwf 3m and Rwf 1m respectively.
