Will Arsenal deliver this season?

Editor,

First and forest, I am writing to express my disappointment with Arsenal FC’s failure to win a trophy in the last five years. However, Arsenal’s win over Udinese on Wednesday was a good result though not a convincing win.

I have been supporting Arsenal since 1998 and I enjoyed the best years of this club until 2005 when we last won a trophy. Instead of improving in depth and quality, Arsene Wenger (Manager) is selling good players.

Despite Arsene being the man who propelled Arsenal to its best days and moulded the best players, I have come to realize that the coach may just have over stayed.

The club has money and there is no reason why they should not purchase new players.

At this rate, I doubt the team will finish among the top four clubs in the English premier league.
