RAYON Sport coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira will give his final verdict on who joins the club this Thursday, two days before another friendly match against Burundi’s Inter Stars.

The list of players on trial includes three Nigerians; Kenneth Okoh, Samuel Uchenna and Paul Onyeachom, four Congolese in Matembe Ndikumana Type, Abdoul Junior, Hassan Kalulika and Omar Mbanyi, Ugandan international Tom Okello and Burundi’s Eric Sengamazi.

Ntagwabira is expected to sign three players with Thika United’s Okello and Vita’O’s Ndikumana Type widely tipped to make the cut following their impressive display in last week’s friendlies were the blues beat Virunga 1-0  and Kabasha 2-0; and lost against Azam (1-3).

“Most of the players have done well unfortunately, we only need three players. I will make the final decision this Thursday,” Ntagwabira, who has also coached APR, Atraco and Kiyovu, said.

The trio will take Ntagwabira’s new signings to nine. Idi Nshimiyimana, Eric Tuyishimire, Mbanza Hussein, Juma Mpongo, Cedric Amiss and Saidi Abedi Makasi all joined in the transfer window.

The blues continue their Primus Cup build-up this Saturday when they host Burundi’s Inter Stars at Amahoro Stadium.
