EPIPHANIE Nyirabarame and Sylvain Rukundo head to South Korea with one target; to qualify for next year’s London Olympic Games.
The pair jets out tomorrow to compete in the IAAF Athletics World Championships set to run from August 27 to September 4 in Daegu, South Korea.
Emmanuel Murenzi, who is accompanying the team, yesterday said that everything was in place.
“The visas are ready and the air tickets have been catered for by the Sports Ministry,” Murenzi said.
Rukundo will compete in both 5000m and 10000m while Nyirabarame will compete in half marathon.
