Rwanda’s Tusker All Stars contestant Alpha Rwirangira has raised the country’s flag again by winning the Tusker All Stars.
“It has been an eight week journey, without you my fans, I wouldn’t have been at the top. I thank God for giving me friends like you. I wish there was a way I would thank all of you on a personal level,” Alpha wrote on his Facebook fan page shortly after winning the competition.
“I am thinking of a way to show appreciation to my fans... please give me ideas of how to go about it. I am happy to God and you! Tell me how I will thank you personally,” he added.
Alpha won alongside Uganda’s Davis Ntare and Peter Msechu from Tanzania for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share a stage with international music stars Usher Raymond and Keri Hilson at the “Tusker All Stars Concert” to be held at Carnivore Grounds on August 20.
The Top 3 Tusker All Stars East Africa chose to perform at the Tusker All Stars Concert, were revealed last night during the grand finale show by the show hosts Gaetano Kagwa and Eve D’Souza.
The Tukser Project Fame Season 3 winner, was in the race against seven contestants: Hemedy Suleiman and Peter Msechu (Tanzania), Bernard Nganga, Patricia Kihoro and Amileena Mwenesi (Kenya), Davis Ntare and Caroline Nabulime (Uganda).
For seven weeks, viewers have followed the Tusker All Stars journey the weekly shows aired every Sunday in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and on Monday in Rwanda.
The reality show has showcased the stars at their very best, performing as individuals and as groups. The stars have entertained East Africa with riveting music acts each week while showcasing their star quality and versatility.
Tusker All Stars kicked-off on June 26, taking viewers on a musical journey while witnessing outstanding talent.
