Konate who is charge of the operationalization of the African Standby Force, said that Rwanda has a lot to offer African countries in terms unity and reconciliation.

“Elsewhere in Africa and the World, people should not just say “Never Again”, but come and witness what has been achieved and even learn,” Konate said.

He appreciated the measures the government has taken in rebuilding the country after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

The General said it was unfortunate that Genocide revisionists exist, saying that people must accept the truth about what happened in the country.
