Twenty-seven U-17 coaches selected from around the country will today start a two-day coaching course. The clinic, which is facilitated and sponsored by the English FA, will be done at Ferwafa headquarters in Remera.
The English FA assisted their Rwandan counterparts (Ferwafa) draft a football development plan that will see Rwanda aim at compete in the Fifa World Cup finals in 2022.
The course will be conducted by Richard Horner, Regional Coach Development Manager at the Football Association Group.
The 27 coaches picked are representatives of all the five leagues which comprise Eastern Province, Western Province, Northern Province and Kigali City.
The named include;
League 1 (Western Province)- Emmanuel Nsabimana (Musanze), Hamza Maniraho (SEC U-17), Dodose Twahirwa (Stella Maris), Rajab Bizumuremyi (ASER), Mukeshimana (C.F de Rusizi)
League 2 (Southern Province)-Ismail Mbungira (Gihisi), Canisius Nshimiyimana (Mukura U-17), Jabir Ndaruhutse (Amagaju U-17), Jean-Claude Kayiyoza (Huye U-17), Hamza (Mugandamure CF) and Saidi Wimana (C.F de football de Kigeme)
League 3 (Eastern Province)-Hardy Kamanzi (RFTC), Joseph Bararusanga (Amizero),Ntirenganya (C.S.A de Kiramuruzi), Nshogoza Bahizi (CFK) and Jean-Bosco Mugabo (Nyagatare T. Center)
League 4 (Kigali City) - Yves Namahoro (Police U-17), Omar Said (C. de Rugunga), Ramadhan Ahobantegeye (Kiyovu U-17) and Silas Mutegetsi (Giti cy’Inyoni U-17)
League 5 (Kigali City) - Said Nsabimana (La Jeunesse U-17), JMV Mwitirende (Don Bosco U-17), Methode Kamari (Zebres U17), Hamim Bazirake (Dream), Jalud Imanishimwe (Fishers of Men), Said Majyambere (AS Kigali) and Ildephonse Nkotanyi (Remera Shining Boys).
