APR have made their first significant signing in the transfer window after snapping up Ugandan international Dan Wagaluka.

The 25-year-old winger signed a two-year-deal with the military side early this week and is seen as a direct replacement for Haruna Niyonzima who recently moved to Tanzanian club Yanga.

APR club officials were non-committal on whether Wagaluka had finally signed but the former Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) player confirmed to Times Sport that he had signed a two- year-deal with the Primus league champions but refused to reveal the details of the deal.

“I have signed for APR and will join our teammates for pre-season training soon,” the midfielder said before adding, “The details of my contract remind confidential.”

APR is also said to be chasing Chiukepo Msowoya, Bobo Bola, Burundi’s Pappy Fatty, Bokungu Ndjori, Dady Birori, Thierry Kasereka, Jimmy Mulisa and Olivier Karekezi.

Early this week, the military side extended contracts for Amavubi assistant captain Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza a.k.a Migi, right back Albert Ngabo, Jean Claude Ndoli, Jean Luc Ndayishimiye a.k.a Bakame, Hegman Ngoma, Landry Logba and Malawi international Tchimanga Mutamba.
