FORMER national volleyball league champions APR are on the verge of signing James Odell on a permanent deal.
The Kenyan international was in sublime form as the army side sealed an unprecedented 7th Genocide Memorial title over the weekend.
APR is now set to reward the attacker with a permanent deal.
“Talks are on-going about a long-term contract,” APR head coach Sammy Mulinge confirmed.
“He is a very experienced player and brings a lot to the team.”
APR marched into the Genocide Memorial tournament as overwhelming favourites and lived up to the billing as they thrashed arch-rivals Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC) 3-1 in the final.
