The glitter illuminated the throng of ecstatic guests, as they gathered at the High Commissioner’s residence in Kacyiru to celebrate the much awaited British royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Guests were treated to British’s traditional drinks and snacks, and a cake delivered by Manor Hotel. Some highlights of the Prince William and Kate’s wedding were screened on a big projector.

Prince William, second in line to the British throne, married Kate Middleton last Friday, April 29, at London’s Westminster Abbey, where an estimated 1,900 guests attended the service, while billions watched the festivities on television worldwide.

The invitation-only party was organised by the British High Commissioner to Rwanda, Ben Llewellyn-Jones.
