As expected, gates were thrown wide open at 5 p.m and it did not take long before the venue filled to capacity.

A bottle of Mutzig (33cl) was sold at a promotional price of only Rwf400 instead of the usual Rwf800. There was not only plenty if music and Mutzig but also soft drinks and snacks.

The tour kicked-off on March 18 and runs until October 20. On Saturday, the show was held at Maison des Jeunes in Kimisagara, and Sunday at the Kimironko main market.

In collaboration with Rwanda Cinema Center (RCC), every weekend Bralirwa Ltd will be screening top local, African and international films on giant screens across the country.

Africa United, a dramatic feature film about a group of Rwandan children who trekked to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup, was screened on Friday.

“The main purpose is to get closer to our consumers, offering them the best in entertainment,” Alyce Ndeze Akineza, an official from Bralirwa Ltd, said.

Bralirwa Ltd’s Gold card members had the privilege of VIP treatment and the priority to participate in a lottery to win goodies.
