ASSIEL Mugabe is one of Rwanda’s finest gospel vocalists, an achievement he partly attributes to his family’s strong Christian background.
He began singing at an early age in a Sunday school choir.
In 2004, Mugabe released his debut album ‘Ntihinduka’, which introduced him to fame. He has various singles to his name.
The 31-year-old is currently working on his second album to be released in April.
Mugabe holds a bachelors degree in Soils and Environmental Management from the National University of Rwanda (NUR).
The singer- songwriter was born in 1980 in the Western Province in a family of eight children.
Together with his wife, Charlotte Nyirabugingo, Mugabe is dedicated to spreading the gospel through music.
