Yesterday Rwanda Stock Exchange started the week with more activity than last week. The market recorded a total turnover of Rwf59,211,000 from 348,300 Bralirwa shares traded in 18 recorded transactions at Rwf170. The shares remained unchanged from the closing price of Rwf170.
At the end of the session, a total of 65,000 Bralirwa shares were on offer in two lots at Rwf180 and there was a bid of 68,500 Bralirwa shares at Rwf170.
KCB and NMG counters were quiet though KCB announced a dividend of KShs1.25 per share a week and a half ago. The bank’s shares will trade cum dividend up to May 9, 2011.
KCB shares and NMG shares remained unchanged; they closed at Rwf 173 and Rwf 1,200, respectively.
