Alpha Rwiramgira has released another Swahili song ‘Nakutamani’ featuring Dre, a renowned local artiste.
The Tusker Project Fame -winner (TPF3) told The New Times that ‘Nakutamani’ is one of his latest projects that had previously kept him very busy.
The hit, which recently gained massive airtime on local radio stations, was produced David of Feature Records.
“I intend to travel to Uganda very soon to shoot my new video as I plan for marketing strategy in the region,” Alpha said.
The singer urged his fellow local musicians to join the broader East African market, by producing for the bloc`s audience.
“Artistes must start from home; this is where they are meant to be recognized first. However, we have to open up and brand ourselves beyond borders,” he added.
Alpha rose to fame in 2009 after winning the TPF3, and since then he has not stepped back. He has since released several songs, including ‘One Africa’ and he composes songs in different languages.
