I wish to thank the Senate for amending the Immigration Bill to ensure it meets elements within International treaties.
I read with pride that the amendment was done following a proposal from President Paul Kagame aimed at helping foreigners living in Rwanda.
Smile comes through my face because we have a President doing what many others have not seen or done. One needs to travel abroad to come across such problems in Immigration departments.
Thanks to the senators for adopting the bill.
