The local music scene is expected to get better, as VD Frank is about to release his third album “Nikuki”.
Following the success of his 2008 album “Banyiramashyari”, VD Frank has continued to see his fan-base grow, and now he is now ready to cross the borders.
DV Frank describes “Nikuki” as “basically a new beginning of material, introducing me to the regional music charts.”
The album has 10 singles, and it was produced from Dream Studio (Kampala) and MCLO (Kigali).
‘Nikuki,’ is scheduled for launch on December 11, 2010, at Nyamirambo stadium.
The concert will start at 2 pm; the entrance Rwf 1,500 and Rwf 5,000 for VIP, with free Juice, water, and yogurt.
Local artists including Alpha, Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Knowles and KGB; as well as Uganda’s Raga Dee, Eddie Kenzo, and Samalie Namatovu (PAM Best Ugandan Female Artist 2010) will grace the event.
While struggling to develop his music in the country’s budding entertainment industry, VD Frank, has really devoted his time to make good music and to perfec his craft.
VD Frank hopes to succeed after getting a new manager, Joseph Mabirizi, a Ugandan working in Rwanda.
“I’m glad I have a manager, who is willing to help me develop my music career,” he said.
VD Frank has five singles under his belt, and an enormous amount of talent and skills that he is ready to exploit.
Mabirizi said his client’s music has improved, adding that he is a talented and obedient artist.
“I want to help VD Frank develop new genres, and to be an independent artist, who doesn’t depend on sponsorship,” he added.
