WITH Abbas Rassou ruled out because of a knee injury, Malawi international, Victory Nyirenda, is expected to lead APR’s attack for today’s Primus National Football League (PNFL) game against Musanze.

Nyirenda, who has been summoned to Malawi’s national team for Wednesday’s international friendly against Amavubi, is back in the squad after missing last week’s 2-0 win over AS Kigali through suspension.

The defending champions have enjoyed a great start after winning their opening four games and, head coach, Ernie Brandts expects the team to keep the momentum going.
However, his opposite number, Antoine Rutsindura,  claims his side is ready to frustrate the champions.

“We usually play well at home and we don’t expect that to change tomorrow,” he said, adding that the players are pumped up for the game.

Musanze march into today’s tie eager to bounce back from last Saturday’s 0-2 loss against SC Kiyovu
On top of Nyirenda, Mbuyu Twite, Tchimanga, Bebeto Lwamba, Albert Ngabo and Emmanuel Sebanani a.k.a Crespo are all expected to feature for APR.

At Nyamirambo’s regional stadium, Police hosts AS Kigali, Marines and Etincelles face-off in a Western Province derby while SC Kiyovu are looking to build on last week’s 2-0 win over Musanze when they play away to Muhanga.
Tomorrow, Rayon entertain newly promoted La Jeunesse as Amagaju host Mukura.

APR top the table with 12 points while Muhanga, who are still chasing their maiden league point, remain rooted at the bottom of the table.
