Fifa demands Zimbabwe action

FOOTBALL’S world governing body Fifa has asked the Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) to take urgent action on the match-fixing scandal that has rocked the country.An investigation by Zifa has concluded that national team players were paid to lose matches by an Asian betting syndicate in December 2009.
