Editor,

Whenever one enters an office, six out of ten employees are logged onto Facebook. They are hooked onto the site as if they were employed for social networking. This has greatly affected the output of several companies and the business atmosphere since all that employees do is post funny status updates and chat.

Most people log on to Facebook first thing in the morning when they report to work and waste hours of work replying to comments and messages.

At the very least, companies should equip their IT Managers to regulate this work crippling site. They should only allow employees to access these social networking sites during lunch or coffee breaks. Something needs to be done soon.
