Nineteen senior Zambian army officers arrived in the country over the week-end for a week-long study tour, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced Tuesday.
The group has so far visited the methane gas project and Bralirwa, the largest brewer and soft beverage company.
They have also visited the Genocide Memorial Site at Gisozi, the Gacaca Court Headquarters and the Commission against Genocide and are set to visit the Rwanda Military Academy Gako and the Rwanda Textile Industry (UTEXRWA).
“A military delegation of 19 senior officers from Zambia is on a study tour in Rwanda from 25th September to 3rd October, 2010. The team is led by Brig. Gen. J. J. F. Chisenga and is coming from the Zambia Defense Services Command and Staff College,” states a MoD statement.
The visitors also expected to plan to visit Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs, as well as Inyange Industries and Parliament before they conclude their country tour.
