Street Expression dishes out Rwf4m in prizes

Winners in the just concluded Street Expression were on Sunday awarded prizes worth Rwf4 million. The prizes that ranged from 26 flat screen television sets, mobile phones, DVD players and iPods were given to various winners.

In the basketball competition, the best four walked away with television sets, while the best hip-hop dancers bagged DVD players among other prizes.

“I am glad to be one of the winners in this year’s Street Expression,” said Eugene Mutabaruka, who bagged a TV set. “I call upon every talented youth to always participate in these competitions whenever the chance comes.”

Speaking at the closing night, Eliud Kagema, Contact FM`s Programmes Manager said that such events help to promote sports and music in the country.
