Looking for something fun to do this weekend? There’s always something going on in Kigali. Check out our guide for things to do this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
If you love dancing, there will be an hour of afro-house; a blend of African dances, like Kuduro from Angola, Pantsula from South Africa, and modern West African dances with Ibrahim Zethy every Friday. The music is a fusion of African instruments with a house beat organised by RawMotion. The class is open to all levels every Friday starting March 16 at 6:15 pm at Soho Fitness, Kicukiro.
Get ready for the first ever Rwandan International Ultimate Frisbee Team Tournament. Teams from all over the continent will compete for the very first 1000 Discs trophy from March 17 to 18. First game will be at 9am on Saturday, and the final winners should be decided by 4pm on Sunday.
Join game lovers on Saturday March 17 at Mamba Club, Kimihurura for multiple games such as volleyball, chess and others. You are welcome to bring your own board game if you think you can beat someone. There will be lots of activities. It happens tomorrow March 17 at 9am.
Intercultural night is a platform for small businesses to grow. There will be business networking, exhibition and cultural exchange with locals, immigrants, refuges and residents in Rwanda through different cultural performances and networking on Sunday March 18 at 11am at Mamba Club, Kimihurura.
If you are a disco person and wondering where to hang out this weekend, Kigali has a number of night clubs, they include O-Zone, The Junction, Masters Lounge, Chillax Lounge, K-Club, Envy Club, People’s Club and Ogopogo.
