Low maternal deaths rates should be our target
Editor, I was pleased to read in The NewTimes that there has been a new nine-room maternity ward unveiled at the Busogo Health Centre. This centre is also expected to serve as a centre for family planning awareness. It is my belief that a woman dying while giving birth is a tragedy of the highest order.
Reducing maternal death and infant mortality rates is a goal of the Rwandan government.
