Go fab with floral

Nothing defines a girly girl like a floral print. However, do not go overboard as you might end up looking like a garden. Floral prints go well with a plain addition; for instance a floral top with a plain coloured bottom.

Nothing defines a girly girl like a floral print. However, do not go overboard as you might end up looking like a garden.

Floral prints go well with a plain addition; for instance a floral top with a plain coloured bottom.

The print is versatile; it can be worn casually and formally.

When going for a floral outfit, Loice Uwase, a designer and boutique owner in Gikondo, says you don’t have to worry about physical appearance.

“It brings out one’s happy side. One can look exquisite if teamed well with the right accessories,” she says.

She says embracing bright colours is something every woman should try. Do not be limited to dull colours only; if you’re to choose gloomy colours, team the outfit with bright coloured accessories.

If wearing pants, she says, pair them with a floral top or shirt, and spice up the look with a blazer or jacket, depending on the weather.

Choosing a top with one colour can go well with a floral skirt or pants.

Pulling off dress look is also easier when it comes to floral outfit. Not too long but sleeveless allows one to pair it up with a throw on, if necessary.

Lastly, Uwase says, try a floral dress with a neutral belt, slim or big, depending on your preference.
