Foreigners speak out on elections

I was, at first, skeptical about the local media and how they would handle the four candidates, but in the end, things went well.

After the grenade attacks in Kigali, we all thought that the elections would be chaotic. I was impressed by the calm that characterised the elections. I was, at first, skeptical about the local media and how they would handle the four candidates, but in the end, things went well.

East Africa should learn from Rwanda that mudslinging an opponent does not make you a better politician. I am happy about how Rwandans went about their elections.
