SIXTEEN coaches qualified for Level C handball coaching on Monday at Amahoro national Stadium.
This followed two-week training for International Handball Level C course conducted by handball expert Yvon Laurans from France.
The Level C training course was partly sponsored by Olympic Solidarity in partnership with the National Handball Federation (FERWAHAND).
On behalf of the participants, Police coach Dismas Turatsinze thanked FERWAHAND and Olympic Solidarity for offering them this course.
“We have gained a lot and I believe we are now equipped with knowledge which will be vital in our profession and in the development of Rwandan handball in general,” said Turatsinze
Expert Yvon Laurans from France said that “After this course, don’t just go and sit with this certificate. Go and make more research to ensure that you fully develope your profession.”
Twenty-five handball coaches from different clubs have participated in the training course and only 16 qualified.
