Where: Top Tower Hotel When: Wednesday, Aug, 4 As the Rwanda Fashion Festival approaches its finale, local and international designers and models continue to display their creations, giving tips and updates on the latest trends. Top Tower’s VIP lounge was packed to capacity by fashionistas, who gathered to witness models on the runway and see the latest trends from local shops. The night featured various creations from some of Kigali’s top fashion shops, including Rose’ Creation, Top Ceremony and Intershopee. Dady de Maximo, the event’s organiser, expressed his appreciation to all the participants and the sponsors of the event, who include Top Tower Hotel, RwandAir, MNET S.A, Hope Magazine, TV5 Monde, French Embassy and Hotel des Mille Collines. Thierry De Groot, the General Manager of Top Tower Hotel said the event was significant. “We at Top Tower support local events,” Mr. Groot said. “According to what we’ve seen tonight, there is no doubt that Rwanda has people with a great potential to boost the fashion industry.” The Rwanda Fashion Festival will conclude August 7.
